1. What is Streamyx Wireless?
   Streamyx Wireless is a wireless broadband access that is capable of providing internet connectivity via CDMA technology at selected areas. It offers an “always-on� service at a competitive price and no physical TM Homeline is required.
   
   
2. Who can subscribe to the service?
   Anybody who is looking for basic broadband service and is within the CDMA coverage area.
   
   
3. How do I know whether my house is within the coverage area?
   You may visit our website at http://www.tm.com.my to check on the coverage. For further confirmation on the coverage area, kindly visit the nearest TMpoint.
   
   
4. What is the speed for Streamyx Wireless while surfing the internet?
   The maximum speed is 384Kbps on best effort basis.
   
   
5. Should I subscribe to Streamyx Wireless instead of Streamyx?
   Streamyx is highly recommended for customer who are within Streamyx coverage. However, if Streamyx is not available, you can opt for Streamyx Wireless.
   
   
6. How can I subscribe to the service?
   Kindly visit the nearest TMpoint with a copy of your identity card for registration.
   
   
7. What is the contract period?
   Minimum contract period is 1 (ONE) year upon successful installation.
   
   
8. How long will it take before I can enjoy the service?
   TM will deliver the service within 7 days. The account will only be activated thereafter.
   
   
9. What type of modem is used for the service?
   Fixed Wireless Terminal (FWT) modem based on CDMA EVDO technology.
   
   
10. Do I need to install the FWT modem myself?
    No, TM appointed agent will come to your place and install the modem. RM88 is to be paid directly to the appointed agent.
    
    
11. Where can the customer purchase the FWT modem and how much does it cost?
    FWT modem can be purchased directly from the appointed agent during the installation day and the price is RM599 (Price varies during promotional period). For any assistance on the FWT modem, customers can directly contact the appointed agent.
    
    
12. Is it guaranteed that I will get the service upon signing?
    No, certain technical criteria need to be fulfilled before the service is offered to you. TM appointed agent will only install the service if those criteria are met and agreed by the customer. The account will only be activated upon successful installation.

* For areas with low signal reception, an external antenna (optional) will be installed at your place. However, additional of RM150 will be charged accordingly.
